You may understand a lot about yourself already—and still find that certain reactions, relationship patterns, fears, or old wounds seem to have a life of their own.

Who I Work Best With

I work especially well with adults who are curious about themselves and want to understand what is happening beneath the surface.

Many of the people I work with have spent years trying to think their way through anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, or emotional reactions. They may understand intellectually why they struggle and still find that their nervous system, emotions, or relationships keep pulling them back into the same patterns.

I have a particular passion for working with trauma and complex trauma, childhood and developmental experiences, attachment wounds, anxiety, dissociation, relationship patterns, and the ways earlier experiences continue to shape how we feel and respond in the present.

How I Work

I am a very engaged therapist. I will listen deeply, but I will also talk with you, help you make connections, teach you what I know, and help you understand the psychological and nervous-system processes behind what you are experiencing.

One of the things I love most about therapy is the moment when something that previously felt confusing begins to make sense.

Understanding matters—but I do not believe insight alone is always enough.

Once we understand the pattern, we can work with the parts of the brain, body, nervous system, beliefs, emotions, and relationships that continue to carry what happened.

My style is warm, curious, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy can be clinically sophisticated without feeling cold or overly clinical, and I want clients to feel like they can bring their full humanity into the room.
