Clinical Social Worker
A warm, down-to-earth space for teens and adults to feel understood, make sense of what they are experiencing, and begin healing what is underneath it.
Who I Work Best With
I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults who may be struggling with trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, stress, identity, relationships, family dynamics, or major transitions.
For teens, this might look like school pressure, anxiety, difficulty regulating emotions, family conflict, social stress, or trying to figure out who you are while everyone around you seems to have an opinion.
For adults, it may look like feeling overwhelmed by emotions, doubting yourself, struggling in relationships, carrying experiences from the past, or knowing that something needs to change without being sure where to begin.
I also have a particular interest in helping clients process trauma through EMDR when it is a good fit for their needs and goals.
How I Work
Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, so I put a lot of emphasis on building a relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself.
My style is warm, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and down-to-earth. I view clients as the experts on their own internal experience, and therapy as something we do together rather than something that is done to you.
REPLACE– Depending on your needs and goals, we may work together to understand emotional patterns, build skills for managing overwhelming emotions, explore identity and relationships, or process trauma using EMDR.
With teens especially, I want therapy to feel like a place where they are genuinely heard—not another place where an adult is simply telling them what they should be doing.
